HOW DO I GET STARTED ? |

1. Do you already have a domain name registered ? if not
then:
Register your
domain with us.
2. Choose the Web Hosting Plan you want and signup online.
During the signup process you will need to provide the
domain name that you registered in step
1. Note: You will have two separate accounts and two
separate billings. One for your Domain Registration, and one
for your Hosting Plan.
3. Once we create your account we will send you instructions
on how to upload your files for your website, create
mailboxes, and manage your web site with our easy to use
Control Panel.

HOW DO I UPLOAD MY WEB SITE? |

There are many different options available to upload
your website. You can use:
A FTP Client (File Transfer Protocol)
Microsoft FrontPage 2002 or 2003
DreamWeaver
OR,
CONTACT US, we can do it for you.

HOW DO I CHANGE WEB HOSTING SERVICE
PROVIDERS? |

To change web hosting providers is a relatively easy
process.
1. Setup an account with
DUO WEB
HOSTING.
2. Via FTP, transfer the files that comprise your web site
from you current provider to your new account. Create any
email accounts for your domain on our servers, via our easy
to use Control Panel.
3. Change your DNS to point your domain at our DNS Servers.
You accomplish this by contacting your registrar
(ie Melbourne IT) and delegate
NS.downunderonline.net.au
NS2.downunderonline.net.au
to your domain.
Or, you can Transfer your domain to us.
When you create an account with us, step by step
instructions are sent to you via e-mail, and we're always
here to

WHAT IS TRANSFER AND HOW IS IT
CALCULATED? |

Transfer is the amount of "Data" that is delivered from
your web hosting domain to clients. For example, if your web
hosting plan allows for 5 GB of monthly transfer and your
web site has two files a index.html file with a
size of 5K and a image file with a size of 100k, then each
an every time those files are viewed by someone (a end user)
via their web browser, then your web hosting account just
used approximately 105K of your 5GB limit. All traffic to
and from your site is calculated. Email, sending and
receiving email, FTP, and web traffic is calculated every
month.
